European Adventist Youth Congress 2026
The European Adventist Youth Congress (AYC) is the largest gathering of Adventist youth in Europe. It is always a very special occasion, a time to meet with God, an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth, and a space to strengthen the sense of family in Christ that unites us. It also offers a unique opportunity to inspire our young people to commit themselves wholeheartedly to service and to the mission of our God.

Valencia is a city that already feels familiar to us, as it hosted the European Adventist Youth Congress in 2017, an event that remains in our memories as a truly blessed and inspiring experience.
Event Theme
MADE FOR MORE Belonging | Believing | Becoming
“MADE FOR MORE” captures the theology of fullness and flourishing that deeply resonates with today’s generation. It speaks to the human longing for purpose, wholeness, and transformation, yet adds an outward, forward thrust. At its heart, “MADE FOR MORE” is aspirational and forward-looking, inviting young people to step into the life of fullness and flourishing that God designed them for. It suggests movement, discovery, and vocation, making it a powerful and timeless concept to visualise.
Subthemes
• Made for belonging – speaks to inclusion, feeling loved and cared for, and relational identity.
• Made for believing – calls to faith, trust in God, and conviction.
• Made for becoming – moves toward mission, growth, and transformation.
This is a journey theme that unfolds in three stages: stage 1) identity and connection, 2) faith and trust, 3) purpose and sending.
Main Speakers
Evening and Sabbath morning speaker: Damian Chandler
Pastor Damian Chandler, born in Toronto and raised in Barbados, encountered Jesus at 16 through the prayers of believers meeting in his home. He has since served in churches across the U.S.—from Seattle to Huntsville to Sacramento—and currently serves as associate youth director for the South- Central Conference, planting a new church in Nashville. A gifted storyteller, he authored The Crooked Christmas Tree and I Am Jon, inspiring many through his simple, relatable view of the gospel. Above all, Damian treasures his family—his wife Tanzy, and their children Zoe, Salem, and Levi.
Morning speaker (teaching style): Ivana Mendez
Ivana Mendez holds an MA in Education from the Matej Bel University, Faculty of Humanities in Slovakia and an MA in Theology (New Testament) from the Friedensau Adventist University (Newbold College). She worked as a teacher, translator, project manager in the Slovak Bible Society, pastor in the South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and in the Scottish Mission. Currently, she is a lecturer of biblical languages and in biblical studies at Newbold College of Higher Education.
Congress Price
Below are the final registration fees, so that you can plan accordingly and organise the different registration options within your churches and entity leaders. The EUD/TED have done their best to keep the price as reasonable and accessible as possible:
There are three main price bands for this Youth Congress:
• Option A: Full Congress Package*: €275
• Option B: Congress and Food*: €250
• Option C: Sabbath Day Pass ONLY (inc lunch) €60
*Keep in mind there is no alternative programme for children. They must always be under the care and supervision of their parents.
ACCOMMODATION
Option A: Full congress package price. Toilets and showers are on site. Participants will need to bring their sleeping bag and mat, etc. There will be a special section for families (husband, wife & child).
Option B: This is for participants attending the congress but willing to make use of alternative accommodation other than the congress provided accommodation. These accommodation costs are in addition to the above registration cost of €250.
Please note that NUCHC will not be providing any alternative accommodation. Participants who wishes are more than welcome to arrange their own alternative Hotel type accommodation
Option C: This is for participants who will attend the congress only on the Sabbath (Saturday).

CATERING
All meals will be provided on-site at Feria Valencia. First meal is breakfast on Wednesday, 5 August. Last on-site meal is dinner on Saturday, 8 August, where you will also receive a picnic breakfast bag for Sunday, 9 August.
REGISTRATION
All registration for the Netherlands contingents willing to attend this year’s events is arranged through the union’s provided platform. Each youth leader / church leadership will be responsible for registering their own youth or contigents. Payments and choice of Congress option needs to be registered and paid for via the links below

SMALL GROUPS
Part of the programme will be small groups once again and for this, participants will need to be assigned to groups according to their language abilities and preferences.
SMALL GROUP LEADERS
We will once again need to have young people who are willing to lead out in the small group time. Once again, we will need to know which languages they are comfortable leading out in.

Het European Adventist Youth Congress (AYC) is de grootste bijeenkomst van adventistische jongeren in Europa. Het is altijd een heel bijzondere gelegenheid, een tijd om God te ontmoeten, een kans voor persoonlijke en geestelijke groei, en een ruimte om het gevoel van familie in Christus dat ons verenigt te versterken. Het biedt ook een unieke gelegenheid om onze jongeren te inspireren zich met hart en ziel toe teleggen op dienstbaarheid en op de missie van onze God.

GEMAAKT VOOR MEER — Erbij horen | Geloven | Worden
„GEMAAKT VOOR MEER” vangt de theologie van volheid en bloei die sterk resoneert met de generatie van vandaag. Het spreekt tot het menselijke verlangen naar doel, heelheid en transformatie, en voegt tegelijkertijd een naar buiten gerichte, vooruitstrevende impuls toe. In de kern is „GEMAAKT VOOR MEER” ambitieus en toekomstgericht en nodigt het jongeren uit om de volheid van het leven en de bloei in te stappen waarvoor God hen bedoeld heeft. Het suggereert beweging, ontdekking en roeping, waardoor het een krachtig en tijdloos concept is om te visualiseren.
Subthema’s
• Gemaakt voor erbij horen – spreekt over inclusie, het gevoel geliefd en verzorgd te worden, en relationele identiteit.
• Gemaakt voor geloven – roept op tot geloof, vertrouwen in God en overtuiging.
• Gemaakt voor worden – gaat richting missie, groei en transformatie.
Dit is een reis-thema dat zich ontvouwt in drie fasen: 1) identiteit en verbinding, 2) geloof en vertrouwen, 3) doel en uitzending.
Hoofdsprekers
Avond- en sabbatsochtendspreker: Damian Chandler
Pastor Damian Chandler, geboren in Toronto en opgegroeid in Barbados, ontmoette Jezus op zijn zestiende door de gebeden van gelovigen die in zijn huis samenkwamen. Sindsdien heeft hij gediend in kerken door de Verenigde Staten — van Seattle tot Huntsville en Sacramento — en hij is momenteel werkzaam als adjunct-jeugddirecteur voor de South-Central Conference en is betrokken bij het stichten van een nieuwe kerk in Nashville. Als begaafd verteller schreef hij The Crooked Christmas Tree en I Am Jon, en hij inspireert velen door zijn eenvoudige, herkenbare kijk op het evangelie. Boven alles koestert Damian zijn gezin — zijn vrouw Tanzy en hun kinderen Zoe, Salem en Levi.
Ochtendspeaker (onderwijzende stijl): Ivana Mendez
Ivana Mendez heeft een MA in Onderwijs van de Matej Bel Universiteit, Faculteit der Geesteswetenschappen in Slowakije, en een MA in Theologie (Nieuwe Testament) van de Friedensau Adventist University (Newbold College). Ze werkte als docent, vertaler en projectmanager bij de Slowaakse Bijbelvereniging, als predikant in het South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists en in de Scottish Mission. Momenteel is zij docent bij vakken als bijbelse talen en bijbelstudies aan Newbold College of Higher Education.
Congresprijs
Hieronder staan de definitieve registratietarieven, zodat u rekening kunt houden met de kosten en de verschillende registratie-opties binnen uw gemeenten en entiteitsleiding kunt organiseren. De EUD/TED hebben hun best gedaan om de prijs zo redelijk en toegankelijk mogelijk te houden:
Er zijn drie hoofdprijsniveaus voor dit Jeugdcongres:
• Optie A: Volledig congrespakket – € 275
• Optie B: Congres en maaltijden – € 250
• Optie C: Sabbatdagpas ALLEEN (incl. lunch) – € 60
Houd er rekening mee dat er geen alternatief programma voor kinderen is. Zij moeten altijd onder de hoede en supervisie van hun ouders zijn.
ACCOMMODATIE
Optie A: Prijs vol congrespakket. Toiletten en douches zijn ter plaatse aanwezig. Deelnemers dienen zelf een slaapzak en matje etc. mee te nemen. Er zal een speciale sectie voor gezinnen (echtpaar + kind) zijn.
Optie B: Dit is voor deelnemers die het congres bijwonen maar gebruik willen maken van alternatieve accommodatie buiten de door het congres aangeboden slaapplaatsen. Deze accommodatieskosten komen bovenop de bovenstaande registratiesom van € 250.
Let op: NUCHC zal geen alternatieve accommodatie verzorgen. Deelnemers die dat willen, zijn van harte welkom zelf alternatieve hotelaccommodatie te regelen.
Optie C: Dit is voor deelnemers die alleen op de Sabbat (zaterdag) het congres zullen bijwonen.
Let op: NUCHC zal geen alternatieve accommodatie verzorgen. Deelnemers die dat wensen zijn meer dan welkom zelf een verblijf te regelen.
CATERING
Alle maaltijden worden op locatie verzorgd bij Feria Valencia. De eerste maaltijd is ontbijt op woensdag 5 augustus. De laatste maaltijd op locatie is diner op zaterdag 8 augustus, waarna u ook een picknickontbijtzak voor zondag 9 augustus ontvangt.
REGISTRATIE
Alle registratie voor de Nederlandse contingenten die dit jaar willen deelnemen wordt geregeld via het door de unie aangeleverde platform. Elke jeugdleider / kerkleiding is verantwoordelijk voor het inschrijven van hun eigen jongeren of contingenten. Betalingen en de keuze voor een congresoptie dienen te worden geregistreerd en betaald via onderstaande links.

KLEINE GROEPEN
Een onderdeel van het programma zal wederom bestaan uit kleine groepen en daarvoor moeten deelnemers worden ingedeeld in groepen op basis van hun taalvaardigheden en voorkeuren.
LEIDERS VAN KLEINE GROEPEN
We zullen opnieuw jonge mensen nodig hebben die bereid zijn leiding te geven tijdens de kleine-groepsmomenten. We hebben opnieuw informatie nodig over in welke talen zij zich comfortabel voelen om leiding te geven.
