On February 7, 2026, the PdF Church Plant family gathered with profound joy, gratitude, and reverence to celebrate two years of God’s unfailing guidance. What began as a small dream in the hearts of a few believers has now become a vibrant spiritual community committed to serving the Hispanic population in Rotterdam. This anniversary was not only a celebration of time but a testimony of God’s faithfulness, the dedication of its members, and the support of the wider church family.
A Morning Filled With Worship and Gratitude
From the very first notes sung by the Praise Team, the atmosphere was filled with worship, unity, and heartfelt praise. The program unfolded with prayers, special music, testimonies, and reflections that highlighted the spiritual journey of PdF since its inception. Each moment reminded the congregation that God has been the One guiding every step, opening doors, and strengthening the mission.
Throughout the morning, the PdF family welcomed several visitors, including supportive members of the mother church, “VISDAC – Voorburg International SDA church,” who came to rejoice with the group. Their presence added warmth and encouragement, reinforcing the truth that God’s mission is always a shared effort, built on collaboration, love, and mutual support.
Historical Reflection and Leadership Milestones
A detailed recount of the church plant’s history was presented, reminding everyone of the humble beginnings, the challenges faced, and the victories experienced along the way. The great support by the Union to God’s work in this community affirms the importance of continuing to invest in Hispanic ministry in the Netherlands.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was the ordination of brother Israel Benjamin Jones as an elder. Under the mentorship and guidance of Elder Wesley George, this ordination marked a significant step in the growth, maturity, and organizational development of the PdF group. It was a moment of deep spiritual meaning, symbolizing commitment, service, and leadership rooted in Christ.

A Message of Hope From Abroad
The sermon delivered by Pastor David Carballo, guest speaker from Belgium and part of the administrative team of the Belgium Federation, uplifted and strengthened the congregation. His message emphasized faithfulness, perseverance, and the importance of living out the gospel with joy and conviction. His presence was a reminder of the international support and unity within the Adventist family.

A Celebration of New Life in Christ
The greatest joy of the day came when seven precious souls surrendered their lives to Jesus through baptism. Pastor Anderson Bolanos Londono, as pastor of this church plant, had the privilege of leading this sacred ceremony. The testimonies, tears, and smiles that accompanied each baptism filled the church with gratitude, hope, and renewed purpose. These decisions represent the heart of PdF’s mission and the reason this ministry exists.
Fifteen Lives Transformed Over Two Years
The PdF Church Plant also lifts its voice in deep gratitude to God, for during these past two years fifteen individuals have publicly demonstrated their faith and commitment to Christ through baptism. Each testimony represents a story of redemption, a journey of hope, and a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit continues to move among the Hispanic community in Rotterdam. These baptisms are not simply numbers—they are living evidence that the gospel is still transforming hearts, restoring families, and calling people into a new life with Jesus.
As a church family, we rejoice for every person who has taken this step of faith, and we remain committed to walking alongside them as they grow in discipleship, service, and spiritual maturity. Their decisions strengthen our mission and reaffirm the purpose for which this church plant was established.

The celebration concluded with songs of praise, a final prayer, and a shared meal that deepened the sense of family among all attendees. Conversations, laughter, and expressions of gratitude filled the room, reflecting the unity and warmth that characterize this community.
As PdF Church Plant looks ahead, the group remains firmly committed to its vision: to be a church for the Hispanic community, recognized for its missionary commitment, biblical foundations, and human warmth. Its mission continues to be reaching every Spanish speaker with spiritual gifts, missionary talents, and biblical knowledge.
